Christmas 2004
Sunday 5th December 2004, the Ligurians in the World of Sydney Christmas party was held at the Panorama House Restaurant - Bulli Tops. Friends and relatives of the Ligurians in the World Association of Sydney were invited and came to share in the Christmas festivities.
The attendance was the highest the Association had ever recorded. Grandparents, sons and daughters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren... it was a very overwhelming and wonderful experience.
The weather was perfect, the food was divine, and all the guests were all exceptionally pleased with the experience.
There was plenty of time for everyone to socialize, dance, swap stories, news and maybe a few jokes, and wish each other the season's greetings.
It was a day of good cheer, harmony, and good will. We are certain that everyone that participated will take with them fond memories of the day.
Finally, congratulation to the committee that did a wonderful job of organizing this function, and also many thanks to Eugenio Rosso for taking care of the raffle.

Annual General Meeting 2010
The Annual General Meeting of the Ligurians in the World Association
was held on Sunday 30 May 2010, at the premises of the Associazione
Napoletana, Marion Street, Leichhardt.
The official proceedings began at 11:30 am with a good participation of members. In compliance with legal requirements, various reports were presented by the Association’s office bearers and approved by the assembly, after which the Committee elected in 2009 resigned, in order to allow for the election of a new Committee..
The newly-elected Committee for for the financial year 2010-2011 is made up as follows:
President: Domenico Mansueto
Vice President: Pino Marini
Secretary: Andrea Agnelotti
Treasurer: Rosa Mansueto
Members:
Connie Caprì, Luciano Ginori, Aldo Reggiani, Margherita Beringheli, Alma Vernola, Rudy Viglienzone, Filippo Zerbini, Andrea Galli.
All the necessary formalities having been completed, there followed a
very tasty three-course lunch prepared by the chefs of the
Associazione Napoletana, that the Ligurians wish to thank for their
continuing and welcoming hospitality.
The occasion provided a good opportunity to catch up with friends and to have a good time on the notes of some nostalgic Ligurian music.
